Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GemYeti website at gemyeti.com ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

GemYeti is a card deals discovery platform that helps users find trading card deals by aggregating eBay listings, market data, and social buzz from sources like Reddit.

GemYeti is not financial or investment advice. All information is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. You should conduct your own research before making any purchasing decisions.

2. Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@gemyeti.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
• One account per person. Account sharing is not permitted.

3. Subscription & Billing

• GemYeti offers a subscription plan at $19.99 per month.
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until cancelled.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
• We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. Refund requests for extenuating circumstances may be made to support@gemyeti.com.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes apply at the next billing cycle.

4. Affiliate Disclosure

GemYeti participates in the eBay Partner Network (EPN) affiliate program. When you click on eBay listing links on our platform, those links contain affiliate tracking. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence which deals are shown or how they are ranked.

5. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

• Comparable sales ("comps"), market prices, and deal scores displayed on GemYeti are estimates based on available data and are not guarantees of value or future sale prices.
• Listing data is sourced from eBay and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
• Social buzz data is aggregated from public Reddit posts and may not reflect actual market sentiment.
• Always verify listing details, condition, and authenticity directly on eBay before purchasing.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, code, and features of GemYeti are the property of GemYeti and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service.
• Use the GemYeti name, logo, or branding without authorization.

eBay listings and trademarks belong to eBay Inc. and their respective owners. Reddit content belongs to its respective authors.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit access to the Service.
• Use bots or automated tools to interact with the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• GemYeti is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will be accurate or complete.
• In no event shall GemYeti, its owner, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GemYeti and its owner from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

• You may close your account at any time through your account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any outstanding subscription fees remain due.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
